NASA API
Inspired by a wildfire tracker app of Brad Traversy, we can request data from the NASA API and display it on a Google Map. We can select from three nature events to be displayed as icons. By clicking on them, an infobox pops up holding further information on the event and a link.

I am constantly studying and exploring the latest developments of front-end technologies in order to be up-to-date and being familiar with the essential topics of web development. Therefore, I checked and tried Gatsby, NextJS, TypeScript, styled-components, Sass, Node.js, Materialize, MaterialUI, MongoDB, Firebase and Tailwind.

About Me
Moving forward step-by-step.
2015
With a technical background (telecommunications) and a little experience with HTML, I took a course on Python
2020
Turned to web development and took some comprehensive courses on HTML, CSS, Javascript and React
2021
Improved my coding skills through building simple projects, and diving deeper into more advanced concepts of Javascript
2022
Out of more than 1200 applicants, I successfully completed a Front-End Developer Programme at EPAM. Currently I am taking a deep dive into Typescript
I like to study new technologies from Youtube videos by not only just building the example projects, but thriving to understand every single line of code and adding new features to them. This requires to look up documentations and search various online sources to find working solutions, e.g. StackOverflow, css-tricks, dev.to articles etc. One example is this portfolio page built in NextJS with styled-components, which is an upgraded version of a project by Adrian Hajdin of JavaScript Mastery.
Traversy Media
A leader in free web development tutorials on YouTube and project-based courses on Udemy.
The Net Ninja
Shaun Pelling - Easy to follow tutorials on JavaScript, Firebase, Vue.js, React, Node.js, PHP & Python.
